(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — For the last 15 years, Brian Larsen has captivated audiences with the Larsen Christmas Lights Show at 42W891 Beith Road in Campton Hills.

But the drive-in display was shut down on Christmas Day because of several disrespectful visitors, he says.

In a Facebook Post, Larsen wrote that a few people demanded a front-row spot and shouted expletives at him when they couldn’t get it. He said his foot was run over twice.

“Wow first time in 15 years I shut show down due to the amount of disrespect! Demands for front row, being told to F off because they don’t get front row, ran over my foot 2 times DONE FOR TONIGHT !!!”

Despite the sour scrooges, the show was back up and running a day later.

The Larsen Christmas Lights Show runs from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

The last show of the season will be Dec. 30.
