HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police in Highland Park say charges have been filed against a Chicago man in a road-rage shooting that occurred over the summer.
The shooting occurred on the afternoon of August 15. Highland Park police say they responded to US 41 and Central Avenue for a report of gunshots fired during a driving dispute.
Someone told them two shots had been fired in their direction from another car. One hit the person’s car. No one was injured.
Police say they identified the car and then the driver fairly quickly.
Tyrone J. Watson, 27 who lives on the 200 block of 121st Place in Chicago, was located and arrested earlier this week and is now charged with Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm.
Police say he was taken into custody without incident in Zion.
