CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A Chicago man is sentenced to more than 12 years in federal prison for illegal possession of a gun and narcotics.
In 2019, Jeremy Ingram, 30 was in possession of a loaded semiautomatic handgun and several bags of cocaine when Chicago Police arrested him.
Ingram previously had been convicted of multiple felonies in state court and was not legally allowed to possess a firearm.
Earlier this year, he pleaded guilty to federal firearm and drug charges. Last week, a judge sentenced Ingram to 91 months in federal prison.
