CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO)-- A brazen carjacking occurred Friday involving a mother and daughter in the Mount Greenwood neighborhood.
A 56-year- old woman and her 36-year-old daughter pulled into their driveway near 111th Street and Harding Avenue around 1:30 p.m.
They were in an Alfa Romeo SUV preparing to unload groceries, when a sedan stopped in the street.
Two people got out and were seen standing on the sidewalk and another car pulled up that was in on the crime.
The two on the sidewalk sneaked up on the women -- one pointing a gun and demanding the SUV.
This was all caught on surveillance video. The older woman told CBS 2 that a child got out of the second car and joined in.
She said he couldn't have been five feet tall and looked to be between six and ten years old.
The suspects got away with the SUV, which police later recovered.
