(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Naperville's big India Day celebration is Sunday, and it kicks off with a parade in the morning followed by a day of celebration.
This is the 9th year for the event in the western suburb. While the parade previously was an afternoon event, Krishna Bansal, chairman of the sponsoring Indian Community Outreach organization, says this year's parade will begin at 11 a.m.
The parade will step from near Naperville North High School.
Afterward, thousands are expected at Rotary Park for a day of food, entertainment, an ethnic bazaar and more.
Naperville has a large Indian-American community.
