Oak Lawn police are looking for four people who used a ruse to force their way into a senior citizen’s home Tuesday night.
Oak Lawn police said it happened at a home on 105th Place, a couple of blocks east of Cicero Avenue.
Shortly after six o’clock, the senior citizen answered her front door to find a woman in a red or orange coat saying she was selling candy. Then, all of a sudden, a man appeared and pulled out a gun and forced his way into the woman’s home and knocked her down. While he kept the victim down at gunpoint, another man came in and ransacked the home.
The three home invaders then got into a white Kia Optima driven by a fourth accomplice and headed west towards Cicero Avenue. The older woman was slightly hurt.
