CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - One person has died and another is injured in a crash on DuSable Lake Shore Drive early this morning.
Chicago police said a man heading northbound on the drive swerved to avoid hitting another car and went off the road near Barry in Lakeview. It was about 12:15 a.m.
The 20-year-old driver hit a curb and a light pole before stopping.
Police said paramedics took a 25-year-old passenger in the car to the hospital, where he died. The driver was initially listed in fair condition at the hospital.
No other cars were involved.
