CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago police have located the family of a 4-year-old girl who was found this morning — alone on a West Side street.
Police said the girl’s name is Nia and was found about 5:00 a.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of North Central Avenue in the Austin neighborhood.
Police said the girl could only give them her name and said she was 4-years-old.
Authorities now say Nia has been “reunited with the family safely.”
No other details have been provided.
