CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) --Family and co-workers of a Chicago Postal worker who has been missing since 2018 says she is not forgotten.
Karen Phillips spoke a week ago about the publicity surrounding the violence directed at postal workers in recent years.
Her daughter, Kierra Coles, was a pregnant postal worker, who disappeared from the South Side in 2018 while on her way to work.
Phillips said stopping any violence is good, but her daughter's case remains a mystery.
"I'm glad that they're looking into whoever child it may be, but it's not helping with my daughter."
Veteran Chicago postal worker Elise Foster spoke at a Friday event about improving safety for postal carriers and was asked about Coles."
"It's a sad situation for us and we're dealing with it as brothers and sisters of branch 11. We want to know what happened to our sister," she said. "It's just left a void on our family."
