CHICAGO, IL. (WBBM Newsradio) - The Chicago Fire Department responding first to the Auburn Gresham neighborhood, finding a 34-year-old man who had been shot in the torso. He was treated on scene and then transported to University of Chicago hospital where he was last listed in critical condition.
Chicago Police say that the man had been standing by his own car, around 3am during the overnight hours between Friday and Saturday, when he was approached by two armed individuals, who proceeded to rob him and then shoot him. They fled in a black SUV.
