After a brief hiatus, Rosebud is coming back to its original location on Taylor Street.

The restaurant has become a landmark of Little Italy, frequented by locals and celebrities, like Frank Sinatra, Robert De Niro and Oprah Winfrey.

Rosebud first opened on Taylor Street in 1976 and quickly became a Chicago favorite, known for dishes like chicken parmesan, veal picatta and the famous baked ziti.

In a statement, the owners of the restaurant said they're not just reopening the space, but "reviving the spirit, the hospitality and the flavors that have brought people together for decades."

Rosebud Naperville and Carmine’s Chicago will also be opening this summer.

Renovations are currently underway.
