SCHAUMBURG (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Baseball fans going to see the Schaumburg Boomers this season will take in some new changes.
Offseason upgrades are planned for the Schaumburg Boomers’ Wintrust Field before spring training in April.
The Daily Herald reported the work includes updated concession stands, remodeled team clubhouses and a new retaining wall in right field.
Also being planned are improvements at the suite level. An updated Schaumburg Club will feature new food service areas and a video system for meetings or other non-baseball events.
A new Kids Zone with inflatables for kids of all ages is also planned.
