CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Two people were hospitalized after a shooting near a West Loop music studio, Chicago police said.
Officials said the shooting happened around 2 a.m. near Kinzie and Desplaines Streets.
An 18-year-old was in his car when he heard shots and felt pain. It turned out he was shot several times and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
A 17-year-old also showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.
He told officers he was walking out of a music studio when four people approached him — two of them armed — and started to shoot.
They fled the scene.
Police said the teen is expected to be OK. Area detectives are investigating.
