CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Four people are dead in a single-car crash Saturday in southwest suburban Hickory Hills.
The Cook County medical examiner said those killed are three males and a female. Police said it happened just before 2:30 p.m. at 85th Court and 89th Street.
Two people died at the scene and the other two died at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
Joanna Proszek told CBS 2 what she after the car hit a tree.
“I just told them that there are bodies on the ground. I saw two bodies. One was behind a vehicle that was ripped apart. One was in between and then the passenger was OK,” Proszek said.
The silver SUV was split in two with the back wheel completely separated from the front. There’s no word on the conditions of the other two people.
