SKOKIE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - The owner of a kosher pizzeria in Skokie says the restaurant was the target of gang-related, antisemitic vandalism over Thanksgiving.
Calling it “disturbing,” the owner of EJ’s Pizzeria says swastikas were drawn on the window of his restaurant on Gross Point Road on Thursday night.
Although Skokie police were initially investigating the vandalism as a hate crime, officials later clarified that they believed the act was gang-related.
Owner Moises Wajchman, who is Jewish, shared a video of the person he believes is responsible wearing a hoodie and walking with their head down.
