CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A search is underway for a man last seen in Joliet nearly a week ago.
Family and friends are searching for a South Side pastor who disappeared last Tuesday. Joliet Police said it is believed Beard was last seen in the in the 400 block of North Broadway Street.
Fifty-three-year-old Reverend Warren Beard is the assistant pastor of New Israelite Missionary Baptist Church in Auburn Gresham.
He resides in the 300 block of East 89th Street and community members are worried about his well being. According to police, Beard drives a black Honda HRV, with the Illinois license plate of DY20511.
They spent the weekend searching for Beard and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Chicago Police.
