One person was placed into custody Wednesday morning after a 14-hour standoff with a SWAT team in Edgewater on the North Side.
Officers responded to reports of a possible armed male barricaded inside an apartment complex about 8 p.m. Tuesday on Winthrop near Thorndale, Chicago police said.
The male was believed to be a suspect in a burglary, police said.
Just before 10 a.m, the incident concluded with no injuries, police said. One person was taken into custody and charges were pending.
