LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Authorities in Lake County are asking the public’s help in identifying the remains of a woman whose body was found last month.
Partial skeletal remains were discovered Nov. 19 in the 1800 block of Hollister Drive in Libertyville, and a sheriff’s K-9 found additional body parts in a wooded area nearby, officials said.
The remains appear to belong to a single person: an adult female with dark brown hair with gray, who had partial upper dentures.
On Tuesday, the Lake County Coroner’s office released artwork depicting a pair of tattoos on the remains:
--two yellow and blue colored fish in a “yin yang” design, which were on the woman’s right shoulder and upper arm.
--a floral design with a ribbon and letters that possibly spell “CAT,” on the left upper arm.

There also was an unidentifiable tattoo on the woman’s neck or upper back.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Libertyville Police Department at 847-362-8310, or the Lake County Coroner’s Office at 847-377-2200.
