CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — If you're looking for a deal on a vacation this winter, a travel expert said you should consider a trip to Europe.
Angie Rice, co-founder of Boutique Travel Advisors, told the WBBM Noon Business Hour that several airlines and hotels are offering discounts to encourage people to travel to Europe during the colder winter months.
She also said there are unique experiences during the winter in Europe that tourists don't get to have during the summer.
"The winter months offer things like the Christmas markets and the ability to avoid crowds, which is fantastic," Rice said.
She also said some European attractions and hotels have expanded their offerings this winter, giving visitors a chance to have unique experiences that aren't normally offered at any time of year.
