Two men shot during rideshare trip in Park Manor

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Two passengers were shot during a "rideshare" trip in Chicago early Thursday morning.

The two 18-year-old men were in a rideshare vehicle around 2 a.m. when police said someone in a silver sedan fired shots at them near 71st and State in the Park Manor neighborhood.

One of the victims was shot in the back. The other was hit in the right shoulder. Both were taken to the University of Chicago Hospital.

At this point, no one is in custody. Area one detectives are investigating.
