(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — An unclaimed, winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket — bought in Skokie in 2023 and now worth $450,000 — is set to expire later this June, according to the Illinois Lottery.

Officials said the ticket was bought at the Kostner Korner, located at the intersection of West Howard Street and Kostner Avenue.

“The Illinois Lottery … is calling on all Skokie Lucky Day Lotto players to check coat pockets, old books, in the car’s glove box, or anywhere else an old lottery ticket might be tucked away,” a spokesperson wrote in a press release.

Winners have one year after the original drawing date to claim their prize. This ticket won the June 26, 2023, midday draw.

Lottery officials said there are a total of eight unclaimed Illinois Lottery prizes, which have a combined value of $6.4 million.
