CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A woman accused of dismembering her landlord last fall has been given a summer trial date.
Sandra Kolalou, 36 was arrested in October 2022 after prosecutors say she pulled a knife on a tow truck driver.
Eight months after her arrest, she's set to appear in court on July 17 after being charged with the murder of 69-year-old Frances Walker, Kolalou's landlord.
Police said they found Walker's head, arms, and legs stuffed in a shared kitchen freezer in Kolalou's home in the Arcadia Terrace neighborhood, where she was renting a unit shared with Walker.
Kolalou's attorney said his client is innocent and wants to prove it as quickly as possible.
