CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Chicago police are investigating Thursday’s shooting death of a woman in North Lawndale.
Someone requested a well-being check at a home near 15th and St. Louis, on the West Side. It was there, at around 3 p.m., that police found a 27-year-old woman with gunshot wounds in the kitchen.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy is scheduled and Area Four detectives are investigating.
