(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A woman is hospitalized in critical condition after being shot on the Dan Ryan last night.
State police said troopers found a 25 year-old woman wounded on the southbound Dan Ryan near 47th street with life-threatening injuries.
It happened shortly after 8:00 p.m. in the local lanes. The department hasn’t released other details and is asking anyone who may have seen something to call them or email their tip line.
The state police dashboard has tracked at least 74 shootings this year on Chicago expressways.
