Throughout the month of February, the Children's Museum of Atlanta will host Black History Month programs each day. The events include a mini musical and a lessons on important history makers.The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets range from $13 to $19. The museum is closed on Wednesdays.

2. Macy’s Celebrates Black History Month - Lenox Square Mall
Macy's is proud to embrace and express the diversity of Black people & Black culture! Join us at Macy's Lenox Square for a thought-provoking discussion with Kim Kimble about the history, power, and latest trends of African American women's hair.

3. Soul Food Cypher - 8560 Holcomb Bridge Rd Suite 111 Roswell, GA 30022
Soul Food Cypher is an evening showcasing the craft and ingenuity of freestyle rap and spoken language. Soul Food Cypher will curate a Roswell-themed cypher that challenges master emcee’s through live on-stage improved segments. Soul Food Cypher combines freestyle and positivity to generate momentum for social consciousness and storytelling expression.

4. HBCUs: Past, Present and Future Speaker Panel - 250 Marietta St N.W. Atlanta, GA 30313
To celebrate Black History Month 2020, the Hall will host a free event highlighting African American players, coaches and administrators who forever impacted the game as we look toward the future of college football. The HBCUs: Past, Present and Future Speaker Panel event will explore the history of football programs at HBCUs, the current landscape and the future of these programs as we close out the 150th season of college football.

5. 2020 Sweet Auburn Black History Kids Running Tour – Butler Street CDC 22 Jesse Hill Dr NE Atlanta, GA 30303
Ages 7 and older are welcome. Registration is a must for this FREE event, upon registering please include your child’s t-shirt size. Food and drinks along with DJ entertainment courtesy of HipHopGivesBack will be provided after the tour. Come out to gain some education and also get fit as a community.

6. Black History Luncheon: Reflections on Race at Georgia State - GSU College of Law Ceremonial Courtroom 85 Park Place NE Atlanta, GA 30303
Panelist will discuss how the fight to integrate the University informed the continued activism of community, faculty, staff, and students towards the creation of African American Studies and continues to inform efforts to increase racial diversity and inclusion at GSU.

7. Black History Month Pop Up Shop (African Prints) - The Guild 340 Auburn Ave Atlanta, GA 30312
We are celebrating black History Month by having a fashion pop up shop. Come Hang out with Us and shop fashion pieces just in time for Spring and Summer.

8. 2020 Gwinnett County Black History Month Celebration - Gwinnett Justice & Administration Center 75 Langley Drive 1st Floor, Atrium Lawrenceville, GA 30046
In honor of Black History Month, we invite you to participate in a special recognition and reception honoring the contributions of the African-American Community in Gwinnett County on Tuesday, February 25th at 7:00pm at the Gwinnett Justice & Administration Center in Lawrenceville, GA.
9. City of Decatur and Decatur Business Association's Black History Program in Decatur - 130 Clairemont AvenueDecatur, Georgia
Mayor Emerita Elizabeth Wilson presents the annual Black History Month program featuring a moderated conversation with Louis Gossett, Jr.. Mr. Gossett, known for his role as Gunnery Sergeant Emil Foley in the 1982 film An Officer and A Gentleman and Fiddler in the 1977 ABC television miniseries Roots, will speak about his latest role as Will Reeves in the HBO series "Watchmen" (filmed mostly in downtown Decatur), black commerce, and his Eracism foundation.

10. APEX Museum Tour - 135 Auburn Ave. NE, Atlanta
Exhibits include Sweet Auburn Street Pride, Women in Stem, The Georgia Negro and Africa: The Untold Story exhibits. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday. Admission ranges from $5 to $7.
