Services for Rayshard Brooks services are scheduled to take place Monday and Tuesday at Ebenezer Baptist Church:Monday, June 22, 2020- Rayshard Brooks' public viewing is from 3pm – 7pm.(Please do not form lines before 12pm on Monday) -No large purses/bags. -Purses/bags larger than 6x6 inches subject to search. -All people entering will undergo security screenings. -Ebenezer Baptist Church does NOT permit weapons inside. -Covid-19 screening will occur upon entry, including temperature checks. Guests will temperatures will NOT be permitted inside. -Facemasks MUST be worn inside the building at all times. -No cameras/cell phones or photography inside the sanctuary. This will be strictly enforced by security. -Jackson Street and Auburn Avenue will be closed surrounding the church.
Tuesday, June 23, 2020- Funeral services for Rayshard Brooks is private.The family is asking if crowds gather outside of the church during the funeral, that they sit, and/or kneel in solidarity with the family.
