Put on your pink and head to East Lake YMCA on Friday, October 9, for a community walk honoring breast cancer survivors and remembering loved ones.
Check-in starts at 8 a.m. with a kickoff at 8:20 a.m. The walk begins at 8:30 a.m. Choose a half-mile or one-mile route, or walk as long as you’d like. If it rains, the walk will take place inside.
Rep. Omari Crawford will also be there with his Miles for Mom Initiative. Stick around afterward for the HBCU Community Health and Wellness Fun Day from 9 a.m. to noon.
