Montell Jordan, Cherrelle and Jon B Performed A Free Show at East Point’s Wednesday Wind Down

The hot sun beamed down brightly on downtown East Point as the crowd gathered for the return of East Point’s Wednesday Wind Down summer event series, but you could still see the stars shining brightly – R&B stars, that is. And thanks to free performances from Jon B, Montell Jordan, Cherrelle, and Donell Jones (who gave a surprise cameo on his birthday, nonetheless), it was a perfect beginning to summer on the southside.

V-103’s Ramona DeBreaux and WAOK’s Derrick Boazman were there as the City of East Point gave residents and visitors a great way to celebrate the unofficial start of the season. And we got pics – check them out above!
