If you have plans of having some fun with libations this holiday weekend, know that if you overdo it, you don't have to feel pressured to drive impaired. AAA "Tow to Go" program will be active this Fourth of July holiday weekend in Georgia.
This program is free and confidential and provides drivers who are impaired a safe ride home for them and their vehicle. The program will be active from Friday 6p to 6a Monday.
If you need to utilize this service, you can call 855-2-TOW-2-GO, and you'll receive a tow within 10 miles. Note that rides and tows cannot be scheduled in advance since the program is for last-minute situations.
Since the launch of the program more than 25 years ago, Tow to Go has removed nearly 30,000 impaired drivers from the road.
