Atlanta — The Atlanta Dream are kicking off their home schedule with a bang! The team announced that their home opener against the Indiana Fever will now take place at State Farm Arena due to a scheduling conflict at Gateway Center Arena.

“We’ve put a lot of effort into making Gateway Center Arena one of the best home-court experiences in the WNBA,” said Dream Majority Owner Larry Gottesdiener. “But with the scheduling conflict, this was the perfect chance to bring the excitement to State Farm Arena and give even more fans the opportunity to experience it. We’re grateful for the hospitality.”

The Dream are coming off back-to-back playoff appearances and have sold out season tickets for the second straight year. This offseason, they’ve strengthened the squad by adding 10-time All-Star and Olympic gold medalist Brittney Griner, three-time All-Star Brionna Jones, and WNBA Champion Shatori Walker-Kimbrough.
Last year’s matchup against Caitlin Clark and the Fever drew so much fan interest that the game had to be relocated to accommodate the crowd.

“The buzz around the Dream is at an all-time high, and we’re excited to kick off the season in front of a packed house at State Farm Arena,” said Dream President and COO Morgan Shaw Parker. “May 22 is going to be electric!”

Fans can sign up for presale access at atlantadream.com to get early bird tickets for the home opener before they go on sale to the general public. Single-game tickets for the home opener and all regular season home games will be available starting Friday, March 21. For more ticket options, visit here.
