After a phenomenal Super Bowl Halftime performance, getting married to his longtime girlfriend Jennifer in Vegas, announcing a North American tour that is selling like crazy, and dropping a new album, it's safe to say that Usher is flying high and winning big right now!
As if all that was not enough, the superstar was honored in a major way right here in the ATL. On Wednesday, Feb. 14, The Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame (BMEWOF) and Amazon Music revealed the exhibit's emblem of Usher Raymond outside of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Usher is apart of the Walk of Fame's inaugural class back in 2021, but Wednesday was the first time Usher had the opportunity to unveil his spot.

In addition to this, City of Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens presented Usher with The Phoenix Award, the city's highest honor that recognizes an individual or group for their outstanding service to the city.

"I'm hoping the rest of the world is feeling the love that has come from this city. Atlanta is a city of belief. Atlanta is a city that allowed me to be that Phoenix to rise. It is a city that has allowed me to have the tenacity to go out and share this culture that I found when I was here. The culture that informed who and what I am as an entertainment," Usher said at the ceremony.
Usher also shouted V-103's own Greg Street for in his remarks. Greg Street helped launch Usher's career by being first DJ to play all of Usher's hit songs on the radio.
