The Atlanta Falcons have hired the legendary Bill Callahan as their offensive line coach, and earlier today Former Atlanta Falcons Offensive Lineman Mike Johnson and The Morning Shift talked about how Callahan will get the most out of the Falcons current offensive line and the Falcons run game.
“When you’ve done it so long and you’ve been involved in so many different schemes and you’ve done so many different things with so many different players I think you start going okay who do I have. It’s not about what you want to do, it’s about what they can do.” Mike said
Atlanta’s new offensive line coach has guided 14 offensive linemen to a total of 35 Pro Bowl selections in 27 years across the NFL, including 24 seasons coaching offensive line, and was selected as the PFWA Paul "Dr. Z" Zimmerman Award recipient in 2024, honoring lifetime achievement as an assistant coach in the NFL.
If there’s anybody that knows how to work with and succeed with the talent they have it’s Bill Callahan, and there shouldn’t be any doubt that he won’t do the same with the Falcons exceptional offensive line.
