Joe Giglio called Bryce Harper's base running mistake to end Monday night's Game 2 of the NLDS "ridiculous."

"Bryce Harper's base running was bad," Giglio said on the latest episode of WIP Daily. "It's ridiculous base running. It's hero ball when the moment did not call for that. Two things, that's the first time there was an 8-5-3 double play in the history of the postseason.
"But the other one strikes me even more, the first ever. That was the first time a playoff game ended on a double play started in the outfield in the history of baseball. Like, there's never been a moment like that where a base runner gets caught up like that to end a game. It's ridiculous that Bryce Harper was that far off of second base on a play that was in the right centerfield gap...It took two great plays to get him...I understand all of that. But Bryce Harper's overaggressive there ended the game for no reason."
Harper was doubled off of first base to end the game, as Nick Castellanos hit a ball deep to right center field with one-out and Harper on first, with the Phils trailing 5-4 in the 9th.
