Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley has a new-look role this season with the departure of Julio Jones: No. 1.
The fourth-year veteran joined The Midday Show following the Falcons' first padded practice of training camp on Tuesday to discuss how his role has changed from last season.
"It really hasn't changed too much--still doing what I do, making plays," Ridley told Andy and Randy. "Honestly, I have moved into the No. 1 role and it's pretty much my room now."

When asked if he likes having that new role, as a No. 1, Ridley said this was the goal.
"Of course I like that," Ridley said. "This is eventually what I wanted to get to, and it's finally here, and now I've just got to work and show what I'm all about."
Ridley also gave an update on his recovery from offseason foot surgery.
"My foot is feeling 10 times better than last year, I can tell you that," Ridley said. "I'm happy about it. I was in pain last year. I'm fixed up now, and I'll be working my way back."
