Colin Kaepernick who hasn’t played in the NFL since 2016 is scheduled to workout for the Las Vegas Raiders, it will be Kaepernick’s first visit with an NFL team since 2017. Dukes & Bell talked about what this could be for thirty four year old free agent quarterback.
Carl talked Kaepernick getting a workout with Las Vegas.

“This is going to be a big deal because if Kaepernick looks the part, and for those who don’t remember he threw at the Michigan spring game and threw the ball around the field and everyone was in awe,” Dukes said. “I don’t think he’s out of shape, he’s thirty four years old, we’ve said this can he not be a backup in this league? We know they have committed to Derek Carr as this quarterback but the Raiders are giving Colin Kaepernick a shot.”
Dukes talked about how he thinks this should be handled by the Raiders.
“This is how it has to be looked at, I don’t think Kaepernick is looking for any favors, by the way nobody is giving him any. If he’s not good enough then he doesn’t get a deal, then he doesn’t become a part of your team. This has been very simple for me, part of it is the hypocrisy of just not the league because the league has said one thing and then you had a bunch of teams and for that matter coaches, say yea I’d love to see him get another shot but nobody’s willing to go out on a limb and do it. So I think you know, you come in, you let him compete you see how the workout goes, if he’s good enough you sign him.”
