LISTEN NOW: Speaking with Representative Demetrius Douglas

After a controversial call last December during a high school championship football game, government officials are taking action to do something about it.

"We just want to get it right," former NFL and UGA player Representative Demetrius Douglas says. He spearheaded the effort to require instant replay at all championship games.

The measure calls for all schools that receive state funding to have instant replay at championship games and while it is currently being held by the rules committee, the Georgia High School Association says it will be taking action to enact instant replay next month.
