25 years after Andruw Jones burst onto the national stage for the Atlanta Braves, his son, Druw, has developed into a tremendous prospect in his own right.

Over the weekend, Druw -- who is preparing for his senior season at Wesleyan School in Georgia -- won the MVP at the Baseball Factory All-America game played at Kauffman Stadium. The big blow in a three-RBI game came in the form of an opposite-field triple for Druw, which brought home two runs:

The elder Jones was a five-time All-Star, who won 10 Gold Glove Awards and is considered one of the greatest center fielders in MLB history. But while Druw has a stance eerily similar to that of his father and also wears No. 25, he stands on his own as a prospect.

Back in May, Baseball Factory offered this glowing scouting report of Druw:

"Druw is a special talent with loud tools and an ability to play the game that is at, or above, those tools. His right-handed swing has barrel accuracy and big-time flick at contact. He hits balls that have big over-the-fence carry with seemingly very little effort. Druw sees the ball well and has a mature approach that uses the entire field well - taking what the pitcher gives him. When he sees a mistake he can hit it out to any part of the park. As a defender he is instinctual and fast, a combination that gives him the look of a quality CF at the highest level. In addition, Druw jumped in the infield and showed natural actions and plenty of arm at SS. This is one of the highest ceiling players in the country!"

Druw is committed to Vanderbilt University, though he figures to be taken in the first round of the 2022 MLB Draft, meaning he may elect to turn professional after his senior season of high school.
