On Saturday, the Atlanta Falcons announced the hiring of Kevin Stefanski as their new head coach, officially turning the page from the Raheem Morris era. “The experience mattered,” 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes said as he shared his thoughts on why the Falcons made the decision to bring in the former Cleveland Browns head coach.
“If you couldn’t get Harbaugh, for me, that’s where I wanted to go and they did it so now I have to give him a chance,” Dukes said as he explained why he believes the hiring of Stefanski was the more desirable hire in his opinion due to the level of head coach experience Stefanski offered in comparison to some of the other candidates the Falcons interviewed.
“Mike, it doesn’t light the fire for some Falcons’ fans and I just ask this question, who did?” Dukes continued as he made his case for accepting the Falcons decision on Stefanski.
