The Atlanta Falcons haven’t had the season they sought out to have at the beginning of the campaign, but now with Arthur Smith and Terry Fontenot having a lot of money to spend this offseason. If Terry Fontenot and Arthur Smith draft another good class and bring in the right free agents Rob Tribble believes the Atlanta Falcons can be an eleven win team next year and make the postseason, Tribble explained why Tuesday night as he was filling in for The Jon Chuckery Show.
Rob Tribble says as long as Fontenot and Smith draft defensive personnel this year and “supplement the offensive line with veteran free agents” this team could win eleven games and make a postseason run as soon as next year! Rob also talks about how having a good defense along with the Falcons running game will always help Desmond Ridder, and how next season he still won’t have to do much saying “You have never not been able to win the NFL with a very very good defense and a solid running game.”
It will be interesting to see just how the Falcons approach the upcoming NFL Draft and free agency with $71.6 million to spend in free agency and at least a top ten pick in the Atlanta Falcons near future. It’s hard to disagree with Rob, with the emergence of some young guys like Desmond Ridder, Tyler Allgeier, Drake London on offense and Mykal Walker, Jaylinn Hawkins, and Troy Andersen on defense. The foundational pieces are set and established now holes just need to be filled through the draft and free agency.
If the right moves are made this off-season for the Atlanta Falcons, Rob Tribble says “there is no reason” the Falcons can’t win eleven games next season. After a very successful draft last season, and plenty of money to spend this season you have to feel good about the way the Atlanta Falcons are trending and where they could ultimately draft next season.
