The Atlanta Falcons have had one of their busiest off seasons in recent years and in particularly, they have put much of their focus on the defensive side of the ball. And while some critics believe Atlanta has not quite addressed their biggest defensive need in pass rusher, veteran defensive tackle has had high praise of the Falcons’ defensive additions.
“It’s been a heck of a transformation, it’s been something I’ve been super excited about, having veterans come in, guys who are ready to roll,” Jarrett told members of the media while at his ‘Grady’s Give’ weekend of community service. “I know Grady’s ready to roll,” 92-9 The Game’s Jon Chuckery, said in response to the defensive lineman’s comment, however the evening host did not hesitate to admit his level of concern on how the team as addressed their edge rushers.
“Some of those outside guys and that whole pass rush thing get me a little bit scared,” Chuckery added. The evening host continued to share that he does get ‘nervous’ when thinking about the Falcons pass rush situation, yet he believes that with Jarrett appearing to be all the way on board with defensive coordinator, Ryan Nielsen’s plans for the defense, Jarrett will have “one of his better seasons that we’ve ever seen out of him,” Chuckery said.
