
"Thank you Georgia," Senator Raphael Warnock tells supporters as he claims his reelection to the U.S. Senate. It was a race that was extremely tight throughout the evening. By 10:30pm projections began indicating that Warnock was the winner over Herschel Walker.
Warnock, also Senior Pastor of Atlanta's Ebenezer Baptist Church also thanked his parishioners "who amid the attacks stood with your pastor."
It was a contest that was even closer than had been predicted. By the end of the night, with 94 percent of precincts reporting, incumbent U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock had 50.8 percent of the vote to 49.2 percent for Herschel Walker.
