The Atlanta Hawks have made a flurry of moves ahead of Thursday’s 3PM ET Trade Deadline. There was some consternation on how many and what type of trades could be in store for the Hawks and we found out they were ready to make moves. Here are the following trade details according to Shams Charania of ESPN:
The Atlanta Hawks are trading forward De'Andre Hunter to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Caris LeVert, Georges Niang, three second-round picks and two swaps.
The Los Angeles Clippers are trading Terance Mann and Bones Hyland to the Atlanta Hawks for Bogdan Bogdanovic and three second-round picks.
The Atlanta Hawks are trading Cody Zeller and Houston's 2028 second-round pick to the Rockets.
The team now appears to shift its focus to the future after losing star forward Jalen Johnson for the season due to injury. The core of the team remains intact with Johnson, Trae Young, Zaccharie Risacher and Dyson Daniels. The club will have a tough road ahead after sending off two of their key bench contributors.
