Hawks GM Travis Schlenk starting to find similarities to last year's deep run

The Atlanta Hawks FINALLY got back to .500 last night with a victory over Portland for the first time since they were 14-14 way back on December 15th.

When asked about the Hawks and what similarities he sees now in getting back to .500 to the run the team went on last year, Hawks GM Travis Schlenk singled out one statistic.

"I think one of the things we saw last year is we became dominant at home and of-late we're playing much better at home," says Schlenk. Now we need to carry that over to the road the next three weeks of the season."

The Hawks have won 6 straight at home and 14 of their last 16 and have 6 more home games remaining in the regular season.

In 2020 the Hawks were victorious in their last 11 regular season games at home and if they can close out this season in the exact same manner, with a long home winning streak to close the season, they could find themselves exactly where they need to be when the play-in round begins.
