Atlanta Hawks guard Kevin Huerter joined Dukes & Bell to talk about the team's historic playoff run and what led to his career playoff performance in Game 7 of the Sixers series.
Huerter talked about what led to his big Game 7 performance.
“It was a mixture of Gallo and Bogie a little bit, we knew Bogie was banged up a little bit, in practice we didn’t know if he was gonna be playing, he just told everybody he was gonna effect the game in a different way other than scoring,” Huerter said “Gallo came up to me before the game and pointed at Bogie and was just like you gotta get shots up tonight, we need you to be aggressive if we’re going to win.”
“I just kind of went into the game with more aggressiveness, know I needed to shoot, probably take a couple of Bogie’s shots that he usually gets and try to put myself in similar situations and luckily the shots fell.”
