
JET magazine was one of the first few publications, along with sister company Ebony, to give Black people a voice. The last printed issue of the iconic JET magazine was in 2014, almost 10 years ago, until now.

Business-savvy restauranter and HBCU grad, Pinky Cole, is gracing the cover of JET’s comeback to printed media and she along with Daylon Goff, president of the publication sat down with The Big Tigger Morning Show of V-103 Atlanta.
“One thing about me is Ima’ always shoot my shot,” Pinky said on how the partnership originally came about. She recalled being at a festival and running into Daylon who was wearing a shirt with JET Magazine on it and he revealed that he is the president. She immediately pitched the idea of her being JET Beauty of the Week.
Some time passed and Goff reached out saying he loved the idea and that is what led to her being the poster girl for such an iconic publication.
