No adjustments, no points: Falcons shut out after poor offensive plan

The Falcons lost 30-0 on the road to the Panthers, and as bad as the loss was on its own, the bigger issue is how non-competitive the team was on offense. The game-plan simply didn't work and Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael discuss why.

"It was embarrassing, they got whooped in every phase of football. You got fan credit and got beat 30-0 by a horrible football team," says Randy McMichael. "They got outcoached, outplayed, and out-executed. Football is a game of adjustments and they didn't adjust to anything. They should have just run the ball the whole game, Penix looked like McCarthy last week. Zac Robinson, come up with something else, you didn't adjust to anything."

"The quarterback was awful and so was everybody else. 43 pass attempts to 23 runs, it should be the other way around. Bijan is gashing them," proclaims Randy McMichael. "Tyler Allgeier had one carry. He (Penix) didn't have it. It goes back to the play-caller. You can't keep chasing the big play when they're not allowing it. Just run the ball. I saw no separation from the receivers and an indecisive quarterback."

"I can't believe that the floor for this team is that low. 30-0, that doesn't happen in the NFL," says Andy Bunker. "This is something now we've seen, Zac Robinson seems to have a tough time adjusting when the plan isn't working."
