Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael were joined by former MLB Pitcher and current FOX Sports South analyst Paul Byrd to talk about Ian Anderson’s great outing in the Atlanta Braves 2-0 victory in Game 2 of the NLDS against the Miami Marlins on Wednesday afternoon.
“He pitches like he is 30 something years old and he has been there many times before. He is relaxed, he has fun, he makes his pitches. This, I hate to say kid, because he is not a kid, he is a grown man he’s 22. But this young man who is in his rookie season is just pitching incredibly,” Byrd said about Anderson outing on Wednesday.
“And it’s not the stuff, a lot of guys have stuff. It’s the poise, it’s the calm under pressure, it’s like he has come up and just been incredible,” Byrd added.
