President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will be in Atlanta on Thursday, the day after his speech to a joint session of Congress.
Biden's trip to the metro is to mark his first one-hundred days in office. The milestone event will be a drive-in rally, and the President is expected to emphasize his administration's policies.
During a White House briefing, Press Secretary Jen Psaki said President Biden would be promoting his sweeping infrastructure plan, also known as the American Jobs Plan. Psaki added that the President would also tout a follow-up proposal, which the White House calls the American Families Plan.
The visit on Thursday will mark Biden's second trip to Georgia since taking office in January.
