On Wednesday afternoon Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael were joined by Atlanta Falcons reporter Jason Butt of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, who talked about the role of Falcons President and CEO Rich McKay when it comes to hiring a new head coach and a new general manager for Atlanta.

The conversation turned specifically to Raheem Morris and the potential of him being a legitimate candidate to remain as the head coach of the Falcons in 2021.

“If anybody is a candidate who also has ties to Rich McKay in a prior capacity, yes you can bet they would be a candidate,” Butt said when asked if Morris could still be the Falcons head coach next season.

“If it is it deemed that he (Raheem Morris) has won enough and Rich McKay likes what he saw and he tells Arthur Blank he likes what he has seen and Arthur Blank decides to buy into that he will for sure be a candidate and perhaps could get an interview after that,” Butt added.
