This may not be mock draft season, but looking at the major Mock Draft pundits are all wrong when it comes to the Falcons. We already know who the Top 4 College Football Playoff teams are going to be. There's not really any question. In the same way, there is really no question about where the Falcons will draft nor what positions they NEED.
CBS Sports - Falcons pick 5 - Justin Fields, QB, OSU - WRONG - The Falcons are NOT taking a QB at 5. Maybe they take one in round 2 or later...someone to groom under Matt Ryan...but NOT at 5. Justin won't even be there at 5.
Yahoo Sports - Falcons pick 7 - Trey Lance, QB, ND State - WRONG for the same reasons as above.
NBC Sports - Falcons pick 7 - Micah Parsons LB, PSU - WRONG - Falcons don't need a LB. It's probably the ONE position they DON'T need right now.
There are 2 positions Falcons NEED - CB, DE
LOCK IT UP: Gregory Rose, DE, Miami. He will be a Falcon. He fills a big NEED in the organization.
There is still a lot of time before the Draft and we will see many more mocks. Careful how much stock you place in them.
